Important: Delisting vs. Removal

Because Ownora displays content stored on the Verus blockchain and Arweave, a DMCA takedown results in delisting (hiding the content from our website), not removal from the underlying blockchain or permanent storage. The data remains on-chain and may be accessible through other interfaces. Ownora can only control what is displayed on our platform.

Takedown Process

1. Submit a takedown request using the form below with all required information.
2. You will receive a reference number for tracking your request.
3. Our team will review the request and may contact you for additional information.
4. If the claim is valid, the content will be delisted from Ownora within a reasonable timeframe.
5. The affected content creator will be notified and may submit a counter-notice if they believe the takedown was in error.

Required Information

Your takedown request must include:

• Your name (or the name of the person you represent)
• A contact email address
• The URL of the infringing content on Ownora
• A description of your original copyrighted work
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Counter-Notice

If your content has been delisted and you believe the takedown was in error, you may submit a counter-notice. Counter-notices are handled manually for the current version of the platform. Please contact us with your reference number and a detailed explanation of why you believe the takedown was incorrect.
